Hershey, PA, Hershey resort Campground????

Comments? Suggestions? Advice??

We are heading East when school is out and one of the very possible stops is Hershey, PA.

Has anyone stayed there? Would you suggest the Hershey Resort Campground? Some other place?

We are also going to be in York, PA. Any other suggested great to see ideas? Our camping spot there is a family farm but we're open to other overnight destinations in the area.

We've been in that area before, but this is the first time with the RV - any roads to avoid? Things we might not have thought of with a passenger car?

We camp just 6 miles out side of Hershey just about every week end at Thousand Trails just off of Rt-322.

We have stayed at Hershey High Meadows, it's not bad but a little tight. There are other campgrounds in the area and i am sure someone will chime in.

Hershey High meadows I agree is not bad. The best part is that they have a bus running all day that brings you to the park so you dont have to get in your car

Do they have a website? We're planning a trip that way in July.

I'm going to look up Hershey High Meadows. Is Thousand Trails a member only place? And, no one has experience with the Hershey resort Campground?
