Should all this be outlawed because it can distract a driver . even the self driving cars can't keep from wrecking .lol i'll eat when i drive . Never use more then one hand driving anyways and sometimes my knees

Nothing has changed this has been going on since the interstates were built as well as drivers speeding up or slowing down on the interstate to not allow others to merge.

Be courteous we lost that concept years ago too. Everything is me me me !!!!

What ever happened to driving is a privilege not a right......

One thing will..............if/when all insurance companies absolutely refuse to pay any claim for a wreck that occurred while a cell phone was in use. And yes, it can be determined.

Short of that, what we have is what we have.

As for moving over, I always let folks in the freeway when possible. When not possible, I don't.

I doubt if insurance companies can tell if you were on the phone, I have apps on my phone that my cell carrier can't track and I don't think my iPhone can be broke into

Not sure if the civil courts can issue a court order.. But that is how they know where and when you were on your phone, from the cell data provided by your carrier.

I get all nervous if I can't pass a few cars, I hate to get passed by everyone so I speed up. I hate to be the slow one. When I see the signs that say one lane ahead and I see a lot of cars pass me then it doesn't take long for me to block the lane. I normally have a bunch of trucks to help me out.

Anything can be hacked or broken into. Let me have your phone for 10 min and I can have access to anything I want.

Just going to pile on here regarding horribly lousy drivers since we just got back from a 300 mile journey home from the Adirondacks. Would like to add that other drivers out there going too slow is just as annoying and dangerous as anything else to someone towing a camper or driving an RV. Got stuck behind 3 different slow pokes all going well below the speed limit and riding their brakes, one of them actually braking going up hill, so forget about having any head start on that upcoming incline. And there's about 20 cars behind me staring at my rear end. I'm sure they were thinking there's another darn camper on the road but meanwhile it's the guy/gal in front of me that forgot where the gas pedal is. While on the highway, they don't realize that I'm in the slow lane going at or near the speed limit and that passing you is a giant pain the rear. I'm not trying to speed while towing, but for damn sake keep up with the the speed limit and lay off the brake.

One of my peeves are the people who don't know that a Yield sign means that. Keep moving and merge relatively smoothly.
It does NOT mean to come to a stop at the end of that merge lane.
I've almost plowed several over the years because I'm looking and adjusting my speed and ASSUMING they know how to drive. Oh, there's my problem. I made an incorrect basic assumption.
