Hillsborough State Park

North-East of Tampa off highway 301. This is a short drive for us, but a really nice park. Lots of hiking paths, giant swimming pool, & crystal clear river water. There are places to launch your canoe or kayak. In the first photo, the reflection of trees is so clear you almost can't tell it's the river.

That's our favorite park in Central Florida. Don't forget the cool suspension bridge. Oh, and lots and lots of poison oak and ivy so stay away from those.

Was there in '11. Very nice park...reinforces my desires to stay only in State parks. Pool was closed that year for renovations.

Just down the road from Camp LeMora. My folks have wintered there since 1984.
