We are planning a trip to Florida in March and usually take Hwy 209 from Matamoras to Allentown. Last year there was a lot of construction and detours which made for some white knuckle driving. Just wondering if anyone has driven this route lately and what the road conditions are.

Hmm...Is Rte 84 thru Scranton to I-81S all ripped up, or just longer than Rte 209? It seems like 209 is an old business hwy. I've never taken it.

It is a pretty drive and we want to pick up the 476 at Allentown and then the 301 around Baltimore and Washington into Richmond. Much more relaxing than the 95 through there.
