You guys will be driving right by my house on this route..
I assume that you are entering 476 from the southern end where it comes off I-95? For the first 20 miles or so, I-476 is not a toll road. Once you get to the Mid-County area, it becomes the PA turnpike's "Northeast Extension," and you'll be paying tolls from there to the northern end, roughly 100 miles.
Previous poster is correct, 476 does not intersect with I-84 directly...you exit 476 near the end of the Turnpike at the Wyoming Valley exit, then you get on I-81N for a few miles, then that intersects with I-84E in Scranton. I would not do the I-80 to I-380 to I-84 route--it's longer and 80 is often a mess with NY traffic, especially on weekends (we have a lot of New Yorkers who have, uhh, relocated to NEPA and have brought their traffic with them.) As stated, all interstate, all easy towing. Here's a link to the PA Turnpike and the toll calculator:

Good luck!
