I-68, between Morgantown,WV and Hancock,WV

Some advise please--- this route out of Morgantown,WV going east appears to have numerous long steep grades- 6 per cent. Any comments on this route.

Also, for a gasser 5.3 L Silverado with the tow package in tow mode,,, would it be advisable to place the transmission in 3rd( vs D) to avoid the upshifting/downshifting during the long climbs ? Towing a 7000 lb Flagstaff (dry)?? Opinions please

Several steep grades. Make sure trailer brakes are working well. Use stab method on and off brakes don't constantly hold so brakes don't over heat.
