I95 Snow!!

We were on the road today from Brunswick Georgia to Yamassee South Carolina! Six hours of icey rain, snow, unplowed interstate and closed roads. Tonight we are at the KOA in Yamassee and what a welcome oasis. A nice pull through, pizza delivery on the way and a nice hot shower. The only issue we have right now is that our exposed stabilizers were too frozen to deploy. Four wheel drive ruled the day.

Wow!

That brings back some memories! 30 years ago today I started at the police academy in Brunswick after driving through snow, ice and rain from Northern VA.

Congratulations, If I am able to see your picture (bottom one) correctly, you are the first person on this forum to have the same WDH (original Husky equalizer) as me (in storage - moved on to RV). I am sure there are probably others, but I never saw a post from one. I try to mention how great (IMHO the best) it is (was), but it has fallen on deaf ears.

So glad you have a safe spot for the night! Those icy pictures make me anxious just laying here on the couch. So glad it wasn't me!

Glade your safe however was travel today that necessary? I wounder why folks want to travel in these conditions and end up possibly endangering other folks. To me there is nothing that important that can not wait till later. Later RJD

Glad you made it OK. I'm scheduled to leave SE NC tomorrow but looks like I'll delay as I95 to FL is the route, then I 10.

It doesn’t look like you are unhitching any time soon. Enjoy your evening and stay warm! Our temps are going down to 25 tonight so we are going to sleep in the TT to keep the heat going.
