King Philip campground NY or Lake George campground

looking to spend 3 nights in Lake George NY with a 27 foot TT and 2 small dogs.
This will be our 2nd time out ever in a TT and are looking for a safe and friendly campground with easy access for our trailer as we are not experienced in parking. I realize it's short notice but we are looking for next friday to monday and a lot of campgrounds are either closed for the season or booked up. I don't want to short change ourselves with a less than desirable campground just for the sake of going.
I found this King Philips campground in Lake George and it looks good.
Does anyone know about it?
or have other recommendations?
thanks

Brigitte

Probably a little late with the reply, but we just stayed at Lake George RV Park. Great camp ground! One of the nicer places we've been to. Close to The town and they offer shuttle service as well. Nothing but good things to say about the place.

Thanks, We'll check it out next year. We ended up going to Association Island in Henderson Harbor NY close to Watertown, I didn't feel confident for a long drive yet lol
Great campground!

Lake george rv park

Just wanted to let you know that our family also loves the lake george rv resort. We have been to many parks and nothing compares to this place. They have multiple pools including a beautiful indoor one and everything is very very clean. It's not cheap, but worth the price for sure !

Ive been going to Lake George RV park for 20+ years...It is THE place you will compare all other campgrounds to. Their web site only scratchs the surface of what they have available. Yes its a little pricey but well worth the trip...I know you will enjoy!

Also check out Daggett Lake Campsite in Warrensburg. Great wooded sites, beautiful lake, complete with a dog beach, and nice hiking trails. Very pet friendly!! About 15 to 20 minutes away from Lake George.
