Lack of personal attention!
We stayed in a motorhome at the Treasure Coast RV Park in Fort Pierce, Florida from December 27th, 2016 through January 9th, 2017. During this entire time period the park personnel and staff were unable to provide us with reliable internet/wifi and by reliable I mean lasting more than a minute! We visited the front desk repeatedly and tried working with maintenance staff all to no solution...the park itself is beautiful, well kept, gated, nice sites, however in this case we were never provided with the service for which our fee paid....and their answer was for us to trek up to the front office to get reliable wifi....I think not!
We sent an email when we returned home from a reliable internet source that lasted more than a minute..and so far have received absolutely no answers.
We are very disappointed with this treatment whereas we had previously stayed and had full amenities throughout our stay.

Did you try between 2 am and 6 am? I usually find that's when campground wifi actually works well.

Expecting reliable WiFi at a campground, is a lost cause.
Since campgrounds nationwide are famous for terrible WiFi, I think your expectations were too high.

Everyone that has ever stayed at a campground that has generally available, reliable Wi-Fi, raise your right leg.

We stayed at a campground in Haines Junction BC in July. They had no 50A, sewer, water or showers but for the 6 campers in the 75 space CG the wifi was great!!

You're in California. That doesn't count. Someone out there probably invented WiFi!!!!!

OK, the rest of the facts, been on the road for over 6 months across the US and back, around 40 RV Parks and this is only the 2nd one that has had good reliable WIFI.

I'm thinking it said they had WiFi, so they fulfilled their obligation. Sorry it was a non starter for you, but if that was all that was a bummer on the coast in Florida in mid-winter, it's hard to feel sorry for you from the Midwest where it was subzero for several days. [emoji16]
Is it disappointing? Yep! Is it a trip killer? No! Can it be overcome? Yep, use 4g!
I am looking at this park for a future spring training road trip, so this is good to know info, but just not a deal breaker. I would be there to enjoy the warmth. I could stay home or at work to do WiFi.

I normally start out with my hotspot and then I try WiFi. Sometimes I have found that if I go to a spot in the campground that I can get a good signal and then leave the laptop on and go back to my campsite I keep WiFi, sometimes not. I have been in campgrounds that I could not get my hotspot to work let alone WiFi. I hardly ever get on the internet when I'm camping, too much other stuff to do. I only look at my credit cards and my bank information with my hotspot each day.

Well not the fastest connection this CG near the Gulf coast has reliable WIFI just as it did last year. It is a large resort but the CG we stayed at in GA again on the way down had very good WIFI, a small mom & pop CG. We have been fortunate, only one with poor WIFI in the past 2 years.

For what it's worth
Less people/camper's better Wi-Fi
More people/camper's terrible Wi-fi
At least some places, found to be true back late October at Mayberry Campground, N.C. People came and went! Mornings great till 9am no signal till 11pm

If you paid extra for this service then I agree you should get what you paid for. If this was just another perk of the facility and included in the price of the stay then I wouldn't expect much and would let it go. I only need one thing in a facility... a place to setup my camper/rv anything more is gravy.

Currently in a HUGE resort. I'll estimate 1200 - 1500 units and the WIFI is more than acceptable. Possibly because there is so much to do here and in the area? Possibly due to the rates? For whatever reason, it is still our favorite place to spend the winter!
