Did you ride the new flying turns ride? Any good? It was 6 or 7 years since they started that project.

Sadly, the lines were just too long. At one point, it was wrapped fully around the ride and another point- we heard someone say that it was still a 2 hour wait.
When we go again, we'll try to hit a weekday and head straight for it.

Lake Glory and Knoebels
Actually, our favorite at Knoebels is watching people crash into the walls in the house of mirrors. My wife and I grab a seat outside, buy a popcorn and laugh our butts off.

We go to Knoebels every summer. We stay at Splash Magic camp ground, about 25 minutes from Knoebels in Northumberland. Kids love it, the cg has so much for the kids to do. We hit Knoebels on Wednsday and Friday nights for the POP (pay one price).

Just got back from knobles. My wife and her family have been camping there for over 30 years. We have been going the last five years and always stay rt at knobles. It's worth the tight fit and no hook ups to be rt in the park IMO. We now have 4 sites in a row on double lots ( her parents , mine , us , and our friends ) it's a blast. We go the same week every year, once you have the sites they are yours for next year same time. We also go to the spooky/ Halloween weekends in late October. And stay at lake glory for the knobles covered bridge fest (craft fair) which is just a little to crowded at knobles. Lake glory is nice and roomy. And hookups are a plus. But not much beats camping in the park. And all sites have elec. so it's not really roughing it. You just have to be a little water conscious. And there's great bath houses everywhere. I'd recommend it to anyone.

You got it right goose killer. We go every year, same week, same sites also. We get 3 together. Some areas have bigger sites than others so it pays to do a little scouting around. It's great to be close to the park. Full hook up isn't really an issue since bathhouses are fairly close and well maintained. We go for a week and spend one day away from the park. Lots to do around there. We are going for Halloween for the first time this year and are excited for it. Lots of fun with family and friends and can't beat the price. Flying turns was great but really short. We did stay at JD one year. It was nice but we really like the convenience of camping in the park.
