Lawrenceville GA suggestion

I need to go to Lawrenceville, GA this summer for work. I would rather take my RV then stay in a hotel. Does anyone know of a good campground in the area that is not too far of a drive and will not hit heavy traffic going to Lawrenceville every morning from the CG?

Theres a campground up HWY316, Fort Yargo State Park not far at all. Its in Winder Ga.Dont know what time you have to head out for work, but traffic around Lawrenceville can get real bad after 6:30 in the mourning. With no traffic you would be looking at a 15 min drive.

Ft Yargo is a state park and has a 2 wk limit. You might look at Twin Lakes in Cummings. It is just off GA 400 and about 23 miles. They reserve by the month. Other than this, most everything in the area are state parks.

There is also Jones RV Park just south of Lawrenceville. Not fancy, but may be convent to were you have to go.
