Beware of the Austell, Ga. area. Its just not a good area. I know one fellow said it was good for him but I'm telling you as someone who is very familiar with that area to BEWARE.
Also, as someone else has said. There are no campgrounds on the metro Atlanta south side or the west side. I understand there is a campground on Hwy 61 north of Villa Rica, Gal but I'm not familiar with it. There is a Yogi Bear CG in Bremen, Ga. but thats a long way from Fairburn. Hope this post catches you in time.

Rockin M, thank you for sharing that information. We aren't familiar at all with the area, but we need to go there for work and need to be within a 30-40 minute commute of Fairburn, GA.

Thanks again, and if you'd happen across some information on a campground which fits within our needs, I'd greatly appreciate your passing that info along too.
