Glen Ellis Campground, just outside of North Conway, NH. On 2 rivers. Great owners and a class 1 operation. Have stayed there every year for the past 20 years.

I will also add Lake George NY to the list. You are a short drive from everything you want to do. Depending on where you stay, there is a trolley to bring you around the downtown area. They stop at King Phillip campground which also has a bike path. There is also a hiking trail that is close to Cooper and McGillis. It is not well known. You can take a paddle boat dinner cruise, go to the Natural Stone Bridge and Caverns and so much more. If you can't find things to do here, you won't like anyplace else in the Northeast.

That's a large area!

My favorites are State Parks in New York State.
Here is a

link.http://newyorkstateparks.reserveamer...mpgroundMap.do

There are wooded sites in Western NY and the Adirondacks and Catskills, Lake side parks along Lake Erie and Lake Ontario and my favorites is in the Finger Lakes Region wine country. Drop dead gorgeous scenery and waters. Ok, so I am prejudice because I grew up in Upstate, NY. We travel from Florida every summer to our favorite, Sampson State Park on the East side of Seneca Lake above Watkins Glen. NYSP are generally around $27.00 a night for out of state RV'rs, with a maximum stay of two weeks. You can get back in after 48 hours.

Not to say Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Jersey and Pennsylvania don't have many beautiful parks as well. I personally favor Government Parks & State Parks over KOA's and private parks and there are also some very nice county parks.

Going on our 6th year in a row this summer. We have 5 groups that go up together every year. Fantastic place to stay!!

Can't remember the name of it but have you traveled to the water falls where you can climb up and go swimming? It is no more then 10 minutes away from the campground.

First place that comes to mind is Jackson Falls in Jackson. You just pull over to the side of the road to park. However this pic isn't Jackson Falls. Another close by place is Diana's Baths which is on the West Side Rd. Large dirt parking lot where you pay a daily fee. Pic looks like it.

Yes.. Diana's Bath it is.. Couldn't think of it for the life of me. First time their this past summer, can't wait to go back again. It is a great hidden gem to visit and spend part of the day there.

It's crazy, just when you think you get to the top, there is another level then another level lol.

Looking for any suggestions in the Northeast for a week of camping.

Thanks
You left out a few very important things;
1) where
2) when
3) for how long
All of these points change everything, and as for reviews you should read goodsam, or koa or camperreivew as all of them can get you close, and then just look at google satellite/ street and then you can look yourself for what you want
Happy Camping

Growing up in Maine the northeast would include Nova Scotia, Cape Breton and PEI.
Check it out...awesome places and people.
If you go wear a hockey sweater (Canadian preferred) when going through Canadian customs....it helps.

Happy Trails
