You left out a few very important things;
1) where
2) when
3) for how long
All of these points change everything, and as for reviews you should read goodsam, or koa or camperreivew as all of them can get you close, and then just look at google satellite/ street and then you can look yourself for what you want

Growing up in Maine the northeast would include Nova Scotia, Cape Breton and PEI.
Check it out...awesome places and people.
If you go wear a hockey sweater (Canadian preferred) when going through Canadian customs....it helps.

Lake George NY, Moose Hillock is nice

Along the shore, Castaways in OCMD and a new one opening in spring in DE, Masseys Landing.
