Maggie Valley

Has anyone been to Stonebridge CG? Got their flyer at an RV show and just looking for some opinions on it or the others in the valley.

Recently (April) drove through Maggie Valley...Beautiful area but some of the campgrounds I saw from afar weren't all that impressive so do your homework to check out before booking one.

When I'm in that area I stay at the Cherokee KOA. It's not camping in the woods, but walk over one hill and you are in the Smoky Mountains National Park. Maggie Valley is not a long drive from there.

We have stayed at Maggie Valley several times and when camping along the creek/river, it can get pretty cool at night even in the middle of the summer.

We've only stayed at the KOA in Cherokee--just over the hill from the Maggie Valley.

And there is an incredible Harrah's Cherokee Casino in the area, however they don't have any RV facilities.

The Maggie Valley is incredibly beautiful, however.

Depends on how long your rv is. If it is over 30' I wouldn't recommend this place. We stayed here about 15 years ago in a pup. Loved this place but can't go back with the train behind me. It's about 30 minutes away from Maggie Valley and not too far from Cataloochee where the elk ranch is.
