We spent a week at Searsport Shores - Family Camp Grounds Maine | Oceanside Beach Camping ME
- a few years ago. Very nicely situated about mid-coast, so convenient to drive north to Acadia or south to the "shopping" towns. We did lots of coastal siteseeing, and really enjoyed our stay there.
We paid a few dollars extra for a bayside / waterfront campsite, and even though the waterfront sites don't have a sewer connection, it was well worth it. About the only thing between out TT and the seawall was about 25' of grass, with enough room for a picnic table, fire ring, and a few lounge chairs. For a very nominal fee, the CG office would have one of the hired hands come around with their tractor-drawn honey wagon and pump TT's that were camped on the water.
