Maryland gathering?
So, we have a handful of folks from central Maryland and the surrounding areas. Do we all want to make plans to stay at a campground together?
I'll take the lead- I'm currently scheduled to be at Ramblin' Pines in Woodbine, MD from June 7-21. So that gives "regular folks" either the weekend of 6/11-12 or 6/17-18 that we could do it. BUT, 6/18 is Father's Day.
Thoughts? Interest?

I'm always up for camping. We mostly stay in state parks because they are more like being in nature plus cheaper. I already have a. Regular campground scheduled in June the Gettysburg FROG gathering on the 24th. Have 45 nights planned so far this year. Always up for more if rates are reasonable.

I am up for it on Father's day weekend (June 17-18). Just let me know what other folks decide. I will call and make reservations.
Thanks for suggesting this.

We might be in for the first weekend, will they be able to handle our big rig set up? I remember sites along a tree line then open out front

Yeah, those sites would definitely hold you- they encouraged me to pull into the grass to get parked (I assume that's not an issue for your truck). They also had some really long pull-thrus back in the campground.

A little off subject, but do you know if the chesapeake tunnel from Virginia to Maryland is high enough for a measured 12.8 trailer to travel through? that would be my shortest route to get there? Thanks in advance..

Per their page they have a 13 feet 6 inch height restriction. Looks tight to me

Thanks I can make that, to me going under an overpass looks close to me, even through I know it's not, thank you very much.. I'm 12' 8" measured with a level so I guess it will be alright and save me a lot of miles.

Maybe a "part duex" would work for us. We're already committed from now thru July 16th.
