Mobile Alabama

We are planning a trip to Navarre Florida in May 2019..I would like advice and guidance on how to maneuver through Mobile. I plan to stop at the USS Alabama memorial for a day. Also need a recommended RV park near there..Thanks a lot..Terry.🤔We have reservations at Santa Rosa resort.

Meaher State Park is within eye shot of the USS Alabama. Really nice campground with paved sites and full hookups. Several good restaurants in the area.

Getting thru Mobile is no problem. Just stay on I-10 and go thru the tunnel. Once you get thru the tunnel you can exit and go to the campground.

X2 on Meaher State Park, only caveat is lots of ants. Use something like this around your stabilizers and hoses. It is pure boric acid.

This past January, drove right through Mobile, city itself on a Sunday morning on my way to Natches, Ms. 32 ft Class C with a 20 ft car trailer. No problem getting through the city. Plan a whole day for all to see at the Alabama area. We are planning to go back this January. Its that good!

If you're traveling across I-10 stay in the right or middle lane going through. If you're coming down I-65 stay in the middle lane going through Mobile. In the middle lane you won't have to deal with the merging traffic and you won't be the brunt of the fast lane speeders.

I'll just X3 the Meaher Park, but spray everything that touches the ground for the ants. And do it as soon as you stop. Don't wait till the next day.
