Montgomery, AL campground

We have a wedding to attend in November near Montgomery, AL. My wife's uncle & aunt live in Montgomery, so we'd like to stay close. Their house doesn't have room for a trailer to park in their driveway, so that's not an option. Does anybody have any recommendations for a campground in that area?

Thanks.

There are a few in this area but I would make the drive to Sherling Lake CG in Greenville. Its about 45 mins south but worth it. Small place but nice people. Only 1 bath house and its small but clean. Request site #1, its a pull thru across from the bath house with a nice wood deck attached and woods behind. Its our local CG we're there once a month. $25 per night with Good Sams...cash only.

Capital City RV Park

Here is an RV park just down the road from me. Very nice clean park. I have included a link to thier web site. I drive by this park every day and I think it would be great for your purposes.

Thank you both for your responses. I've been too busy to check back here, so please accept my apologies for the late response. Both sound like good campgrounds. My wife feels like we should be closer to Montgomery, so we'll contact Capital City first. If that doesn't work, we'll look into Sherling Lake. Again, thanks for the responses.

Gunter Hill is right outside Montgomery. It's a nice COE park.

Surveycop,

I would avoid Capital City RV Park. The people there are very rude. I would try to stay at Wind Creek State Park or Gunter Hill Park (COE).
