To me that sounds like your only choice.
I agree, find a self storage place to put your TT in for a few days and stay in a motel... it's not a terribly difficult problem to solve. There are other resources beyond campgrounds...Sorry for your extra trouble, I hope it gets resolved soon!

Just not correct.

This is off topic but to lewgoins: that was really nice of you to offer that to the OP. RVers are the nicest people in the world, if everyone could be as nice as one RVers is to another RVer, this world would be a great place to live!!

To Ultra,
Good luck in your search, I know due to the RV show everything is booked! If you have to go the motel route, maybe someone could offer to "dog-sit" for you if they have the room. I know it is hard to be away from your animals but desperate times call for desperate measures.
Good Luck

Find a hotel and ask them if you can store the RV in their parking lot while you stay. I've done that in Merritt BC while from truck was in for repairs.

Does the bodyshop have room for your trailer? Will they let you dry camp until your truck is ready? I would ask, it beats hotels even if you just park it and stay with your brother in law?

Thanks James! Sent you a PM.
Best news is that the truck will be done on the 12th! Maybe late leaving, but close enough!
Thanks for all the great suggestions and comments! It's great to know that all RV'ers are so kind and helpful!
BTW, Coachnet would not move my 5th wheel. They called it a "convenience tow" which is not covered.
Thanks again to all !

One last post to this saga. I (again) went to the office today to ask for more time ( in case the truck isn't finished on time. Low and behold, they had a cancellation and I'm getting it on the 12th, truck done or not! Fellow forum member James Brice is going to move me. Now I can stay another week and enjoy this fine Florida weather!
Once again, thanks to all of you!

I'm glad that you have a place to stay and that one of our own is able to assist with the move.

Glad I can help. The name is Briar. It is a hard name to remember. It was a pleasure to meet and talk to you. And thank you for your service.
