Picking DH up at the track tonight I saw a steady stream of FR products pulling out including about 5 Sabres, several Pumas, a sandpiper, heritage glen, and the list goes on. Hope y'all had fun and didn't get to wet or stuck. Safe travels home all.

Waited till I got home for better wifi to post these.
Group dinner prepared before the Saturday by some fellow campers from Louisiana.
View of the Earhart Campground looking down from the speedway. Definitely a full house. Gotta give a good job statement for the campground management. Unfortunately things got a little wet and slippery because of the every day downfall of rain. They sent a big tractor around for anyone who wanted to have their camper pulled onto the gravel road before hooking up (free).

I was wondering how many people would get out of there. I was in 4X4 trying to get up a slight hill. I spun most the way up. That was in the hill side lot across from Earhart.

Well it was my first and last trip to Bristol. All that distance and couldn't stay to see the delayed race. I've decided to only go to road races (which will be primarily IMSA, Trans Am and Pirelli WCC) from now on because they race rain or shine. We did have some fun though.

I can't think of anything that would make me sit in the rain to watch. I went to Monaco a few years ago for the F1 race. It was raining the entire time so I watched the race in nice and dry conditions in my hotel room.

We just plan for the possibility of rain and book extra days at the campground in advance as well as have those days prearranged off from work.

Yeah I know. I always have to upload, save, download, upload again then save and edit followed by a new upload before they behave. I'm trying to fix them now

Might could've done that too, but with 4 days of driving and 2 days at the track I wasn't able to stay away that long.
