We went to Watkins Glen last year and are going this year as well. We stayed at the KOA which is just down the hill, maybe 2 miles. We stay the week starting race weekend Friday. Cost for the week is a little over $500. For 2018 I was on the phone at noon of 2017s race, that is when unreserved sites for the following year are available. It took about 5 mins to get through and there were only 2 sites remaining. Luckily one fit our TT, the other was very short. For this year I made the reservation first thing Sunday morning. We already know we are not going back in 2020, off to a new adventure. If I could transfer the site to a fellow FR race fan I would but not sure if that is possible.

Why wait till spring. We do the Atlanta race every year and have full hook ups. We are there for the whole week. If weather gets cool and they run race I may come back to camper and finish watching race in a warm camper. Its televised on Fox. BTW I can rib you about Bush Later RJD
