As per Lowe’s Motor Speedway Charlotte/Concord we’ve spent extended stays as fulltimers at Verelrvpark which is as close as you’ll get to the main gate (right across the street). Just there last summer and paid the non event rate of $150 a week. You’d have to contact them for the event schedule and rate. There’s always a lot of vendors set up in their front lots that you walk thru on ur way to the track.

Earhart is directly north of the speedway and connects to it via two foot bridges.
Overlooking the dry camping spots is a terrace with 64 FHU sites. It’s where the arrow is pointing. They have a second CG across the street with three levels of terrace but I think only the first is FHU. The others are electric and water only. Second arrow in pix shows that area. It’s all very crowded but that’s just Nascar.

NASCAR Camping
Upgrades/renovations are on going at the Talladega Track. Not sure of all the improvements but folks near there say it will be much better. C& C is close and full hook ups but you should have already had reservations I think.

Only way to make Talladega better is to shorten the track to a mile or less so you don’t need binoculars to see the cars.

Talladega NASCAR camping
Grandstand RV Park adjoins speedway property. Walk to the track. 50 amp, water, and 1 free pump out. Ask for Susan. 1-205-541-2312. Sites are grassy and plenty big enough. We stay there every year. Any questions, ask. They usual fill up but worth a try for the convenience. Very nice folks. If you stay there we'll be on lots 42,43,44. Jim.

My wife says she’s open to attending a NASCAR race as long as we can have:
Minimum..............electric
Nice to have.........electric and water
Ideal...................electric and water and sewer
We haven’t won the lottery (not yet anyway) so price is a concern
We’d like camping on the adjoining property.....walk to grandstands.
We’ve done Michigan International Speedway at Turn 2 Retreat, so she knows that worked perfectly.....our grandstand seats allowed us to see the rig from the seats. We attended for several days....not just race day.

Anyone have any good info on camping at Richmond Speedway. I would like to stay at the track campground. I don’t really need any hookups just some ideas on the lots and good spaces. Is anyone going to be at the spring race st Richmond? I will also be st both Pocono races camping in the infield. Thanks

Thanks for your info. I have been to a Richmond race before but never camped there. It’s a great track and a Saturday night race plus the new fan zone. I found a spot in lot F no hook up for about 200. They have water and electric for 275. but sold out for April and full hookup for 500. Not bad prices considering you are right at the track. I also got a military appreciation package. Let me know if you decide to come down.

Anybody going to camp at the Coca-Cola 600? We live real close to the track but we are camping anyway because we haven't done it since my son was born and he wants to go. Let me know if anyone else will be there.
