Nashville 2013

Well we are now 6 days and 2300 miles into our vacation and it is an excellent trip. Have gone through N and S Dakota, Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, Arkansas and been in Tennesse since Sunday Did a Wallyworld campout on thurs then stayed in Jamestown on Fri.at the west Omaha KOA on sat the 8th, Graceland RV park on the 9 and 10th, Nashville Two River CG on the 11th and are now at Bear Cove in Pigeon Forge. Did Graceland tour while in Memphis then The Opry last nite OMG that was awesome, Tonite we went to the Hatfield and Mccoy dinner theatre and it was a blast. Will post some pics later on as cg wifi is good but not smokin fast. Later all

BTW I could have sworn I saw Iggy's rig in Missouri on the interstate saturday.

Just wish we had more time to see more but that is a reason to come back down here as it is beautiful and we went from temps that went down in the low 40's at nite to 90's so what a change.

John, you're hitting some great spots, but slow down!

As Charles Kuralt, the CBS correspondent who did his "On the Road" series of RV tours for 25 years, once said, "Thanks to the Interstate Highway System, it is now possible to travel across the country from coast to coast without seeing anything."

Got home yesterday, 4312 miles and lots of memories. Spent 3 days in Pigen Forge and went to DollyWood, Parrot Mountian and numerous things including the Dixie Stampede dinner theatre and it is everything that one could imagine and more. Also went and dropped by Smokyroo's store (of course he was in Florida). Then went Indy and gave myself a 170mph fathers day gift. Yep the Richard Petty Ride was in town so I got me 3 laps of Indy in a detuned Nascar (it was rev limited to 170) but that was an absolute blast as my BIL was in the car 10 feet behind us.
