Need Overnight Spot in Tamps

We do not have reservations in Tampa Florida until tomorrow. Assumed we could overnight park at Walmart, managers says no even though this is "approved" for RV overnight parking. Looking for locations and need help!

Try the Flying J about 15 miles north of Tampa on I-75. You should be able to park away from the trucks on the west side of the Dennys restaurant and grab your breakfast there in the morning. Here is there phone number (352) 588-5444. Downloadable spreadsheet says rv parking is ok

Lazy Days RV park is just off the highway at the Lazy Days RV dealership. No....they will not bother you to buy something, but you can wander the grounds after closing and check out all the RV's as they leave them open for that. Great security, extremely clean, quiet and inexpensive. They also provide breakfast and lunch for your party along with your campsite. We spent the night there when we picked up our new RV last month and it is really nice. For dinner, there's a Cracker Barrel on property as well as a Flying J for fuel, etc.
