I left NJ in Feb on my way to Vegas. I took 20 across with every intent of going to 10 if weather was going to get dicey. I didn't have any problems so I continued across 20

I just drove I20 on my way back from DFW, not bad at all. And ya gotta love that 75mph speed limit.

Need X-country Southern route for January

Just thought I might mention accommodations along the way. On 20 in the Midland / Odessa area campgrounds and other accommodations will be scarce due to the drilling activity. On 10 it might be the same due to the over flow of people from Midland / Odessa. Be sure to plan ahead if you plan on staying in those areas.
