New Point Campground, Mathews, VA
Just returned from our first weekend at New Point Campground. It is in Mathews County, on the Chesapeake Bay. Very quiet and family friendly. Appeared to be about 80% full season/semi-permanent camp sites. We were in pull through site near the office. Things were well kept and clean. Did a little crabbing and fishing. There was a separate swimming beach (too chilly for us!), pool, two nice playgrounds. Only complaints-laser tag for kids was not operational this weekend and camp store was out of fire wood. Other than that, nice little place!
