We've taken two groups to DC for the Cherry Blossom Festival (about 75 RVs in 2012, our first FROG tour, and another 50 the next year). Cherry Hill worked very well for us.

They have a bus that will pick you up at the office and take you to the metro, although they go through the University of Maryland area, not to the nearest station. You can drive one exit, about a mile and a half, to the nearest station, park, and catch Metro into the city very easily.

We stayed a place called Bar Harbor Campground. It is on the Chesapeake Bay. And it just north of Baltimore. Right off I95 Really nice place. Small but we enjoyed it.

We stayed at Cherry Hill Park this past summer...pretty nice park...clean, well laid out...nice is THE most stocked campground stores I've come across for RV maint. & repair. The area is a little seedy though.

Greenbelt, Md is a state park. Has electric. Have not been there for a long spell. Pretty sure you won't find 3 pt. hookup there.
