Nice Vacation
We are coming to the end of a very nice get away form the cod trip Dianna and I made to TN and enjoyed Nashville for a week.We stayed at Nashville Country RV about 15 miles north of Nashville. The campground was nice but lots are small and we got tired of the constant sounds of I 65 traffic. A good stop over but 5 days is to much. We moved up to Mammoth Cave and stayed at Diamond Cave Resort. It is a Thousand Trails campground and is full hook-up but still rustic. The lot size are nice and the management very helpful. The TV reception is poor and no cable. I got feed up and drove down to Bowling Green Camping World to buy a Tailgater Dish but they were out. Not a big deal but on the rainy days I do get bored. We left the Bowling Green area and headed to KY Horse Park. This is a great place. I'm so happy we decided to stay here. The area is filled with things to do and the CG is clean and open. Nice trees and lots of grass. The Horse park is a fun place to visit and their is always something going on. The only down side is no sewer. They have 50 amp and great water pressure [bring your water pressure regulator] and if needed you can call a guy to empty your tanks foe 30$.
We meet lots of great people as we do when camping but I can't belief how many FR folks we met. It seems they are everywhere. None that have been on the forum but I did invite them to check it out.
Hopefully MI will have their weather sorted out before Monday when we return.
