Turkey Swamp is good with me. About 1.5 hours away towing. Gotta plan it after the Colonial Williamsburg FROG rally though.

If anything, I would try for E16 or D2... entering CG backward, K turning on the Archery Range Road and backing into CG and into a site that is oriented facing south...

I'm probably heading there in a couple of weeks to shake things out and get going for the season... also have plans to head there mid-May with a college buddy to do some fishing on a couple of small lakes in the area and on one of the party boats out of Belmar...

I'll take some pictures and video to post to the forum to give you an idea of what you would be facing...

Here are a couple of pics I found from our last trip there... (sorry for the sideways pic) Give you an idea of how much hose you will need...

Pic 6633 is looking northeast out of site E-12 along the "E" road

Pic 7757 is typical of the entrance to most of the sites...

Do they have full hookups or just water and electric? I have 200 ft of water hose, 100 winter heated and 1 50 ft and 2 25 ft 3 season hose.

Holding tank isn't that big for 2 people, gray fills fast. Dump once a day. Do big car shows and sometimes water hookup is pretty far.

I've never RV camped before. We are so used to being frugal with the water, we both shower with a 3 gallon solar shower bag. I figured we'd use about that much more for toilet, washing dishes, so 6 or so gallons a day. I think the gray and black tank each hold at least 25 gallons, enough to easily get through a 3 day weekend without dumping. But like I said, I'm totally new at this! Can't wait to see what we actually use.

One of the things I do like about this campground is that out of 64 sites on fifty two are reservable and 12 are held for first come first serve. You can always arrive on a thursday and get a site

By my self at a 4 night car show, I can squeak by with a full gray tank. 2 people with showers and normal cooking, 1 day.

I'm hoping this fancy new water saver thing they put in my new TT helps that situation. Any water you run from the shower while waiting for the water to come up to temperature gets diverted back into fresh water tank until the indicator shows the water is hot, then you turn it on.
