I go for both. Pork Roll and Scrapple! We thank them with us when we travel. Just can't take enough for 3 months!

Not from Jersey but I have family there. I never heard of Pork Roll until a few months ago. I found it locally at Stop & Shop. I did not care for it but I would still join a meet up with the Jersey crew. I promise not to hold the Pork Roll against you.

Has not been discussed yet. I would think that Turkey Swamp is a decent place and pretty much in the middle of the state

the following is one of many reviews I came across:
Date of Stay: October, 2018 - $40.00
Overall Rating:
We have a 36 foot class A motor home. I had no problem getting in or out. Yes, it’s tight, but still easy if you go slow. My site was MUCH bigger than most places I’ve stayed. There is a great playground for kids, clean bathrooms, nice trails, and even a free hayride this time of year. We went to Allaire haunted village which was a lot of fun. Only “warning” is that the fresh water spigots are far from the rv site. You’ll need double the hose you normally need. Other than that.... great time and great site We camped at Turkey Swamp Park in a Motorhome.

It's actually in Freehold, probably 20 miles or so east of Trenton, close to 195

At exit 69 we call it pork roll, now is it with mayo or ketchup?

Turkey Swamp is a great park... we usually visit at least once or twice a season. We haven't had any issues getting into almost any site there, we are almost 60' combined (21' truck + 36' travel trailer) Some sites require you to enter them by driving the opposite way on the one-way loop road. Almost every site is sort of a pull through/pull off to either side of the road.
There is one hose bib for every two sites... it could be as far as 60-75' depending on where your water inlet is... sites are relatively level with sandy soil...
Really great trail system there as well, nice lake, archery range, and relatively inexpensive...
The only caveat is that it is a county-run park...that happens to be "dry" - no alcohol allowed... which keeps things nice and quiet... but the rangers at times can be a little overzealous when on patrol. Had one walk up behind me once in the pitch black while sitting out by the fire, proceded to search around with his flashlight and remind me that fires must be out by 11pm...
Exit 168- its Taylor ham

Deuce & Dieselbobcat, you know my set up would I be able to get in and around? Of course coming at all would depend on when this is planned but just trying to plan ahead.

You might be able to use the Smart Car and a dolly to jockey the Riverstone into a site.

I have never camped there. So getting around to me is a crap shoot! I was there several years in a row for a car club show. Really nice place from what I remember. Same with us as to when it happens. Have 3 rallys registered and planned so far this year plus 2 national car shows. Busy, busy, busy. No moss under any of my tires![emoji16]

Here's a link to PDF Turkey Swamp Park brochure with campground map.

As others have mentioned, larger than typical NJ camp sites and water hook ups are a a bit far. Over 30ft shouldn't be too difficult as long as you avoid the A&B loops.
