Normandy Farms outing

Just arrived back from Normandy Farms Resort today. Very beautiful place lots of things to do. School vacation so lots of kids. Only down fall for us was I had an iPod stolen out of my truck. So gone are the days of trusting your fellow campers. Never worried about locking up when we went for walks. Lesson learned.

Sorry to hear about your experience. I will have to start paying attention to locking things up. I may be spoiled as in 15 years of camping primarily in VT state parks, never had anything stolen.
Normandy looked nice and good thing it was last week and not this weekend and coming week, weather wise.

We also have camped for years, first time in camper. Never locked anything. Could have just been a bad egg in the bunch being school vacation. Lot of older teens.

Glad to hear you enjoyed it. Headed up there in July. Have never been before but looking forward to it. It will be the first time we have had the kids up to mass area. We hope to get over to Boston and the cape.

92mariner, make sure you visit Patriot Place right down Route 1. There's lots of shopping, dining and big Bass Pro Shop. It is split into two sections. Not a big Patriot fan but the stadium is something to see.

I hear you on that. We never used to lock anything up either. Until 3 years ago when we had golf clubs, and our camping friends had a laptop stolen from our unlocked vehicles. They also stole firewood from the camp host on the same night. Figured it was a bunch of kids staying in a tent across from our site. They left early the next morning, new "treasures" in hand. Punk kids never taught values by their parents, no doubt. Now we lock everything up.
