So I was late booking our reservations for our anniversary trip and we missed out on our favorite State Park, Fort Yargo. I have reservations at Don Carter, but we rode through yesterday and the campground is just awful!! So dissapointed as we have waited for that park to open so that we would have Fall/Winter camping that is close to home. I cannot stand the thought of trying to relax in those teeny tiny spots with no pad area. I only have a 29 foot camper and I am not sure it would have worked in most of those sites.
Does anyone know of campgrounds that are in North Georgia area that would be a alternative to Fort Yargo? Not Unicoi or Vogel as I get terribly car sick going through the mountains. We did look at Tugaloo, AH Stephens and Victoria Bryant, but we have no input on those and would hate to be surprised.
Oh and BTW we leave 9/18 just a little more than a week away
