Ocean Pond Camground Osceola Nat'l Forest-Florida

I arrived here on the 22nd of this month and was able to get a site with water and electric. With senior pass it's onl 12 bucks. They have water only sites for 8/with discount and no water/no electric sights for only 4 bucks if you have the pass!!!
They do not take reservations and it can be crowded at different times ot the year. Very clean and well maintained with some sites right on the water.
I will be leaving here Sunday or Monday and hope to get a site in the Withlacoochee State forest near Inverness.

Post a photo or 2 and tell us about your stays.
Do you hike/walk? Were there biking paths? How was the weather?

pictures and more info can be found here-

the Florida National trail runs through here but not sure if it's make for bikes or not. I haven't seen any dedicated bike trails but the roads in the park are nice and little traffic. There is a public gun range about ten miles away if you're into target shooting.
Weather is typical for northern Florida this time of year. It was in low 80's first two days I was here then a cold front came through and it was highs around 60 and lows around 40. Warmed back up to 70 yesterday but turning bit cooler rest of week.
It's a very quiet campground and the showers and toilets are very nice and well maintained.
