Ohio, Whispering Hills RV Park

We are a newbies and recently purchase a Rockwood A124. After a long search for a family friendly place to camp, we found Whispering Hills RV Park, South of Shreve, Ohio. It is a short drive to Mohican State Park and Loudonville, Ohio. We were draw to this camp from the pictures on their website. There were so many activities on the campground. Our son love the game room and the Mini-Golf (free). We also enjoyed their fishing lake and their paddle boat. Their bathroom and shower are very clean. They also have disc golf and some animals farm on the site. We stayed on lot #12, Ruth Road and have a beautiful view such as in this picture. If you want to wake up to a rolling hill, I would suggest lot 2 or 3 on Dickís Drive (we will request for this lot next time). We didnít explore all the area at the campsite but from the little drive that we did, there are few other areas that have a nature view as well. We stayed for 4 nights and it was so peaceful. They are also dog friendly with a fence in dog park. The campers here are family oriented people and the kids are very nice. The price a little higher when compared with other campsite in the area ($47 for electric and water, $50 for Electric, Water and Sewer), but we are willing to pay for the peaceful settings and the nice people that are here. We drove around and look at other campsite while we are here and nothing could compared to the space and the view that you get from Whispering Hills RV Park. We already planned to go back next weekend. We also visited the Malabar Farm Restaurant and the food are delicious, would suggest make a reservation. The drive was nice and it is close to Mohican State Park with a large lake/beach. Pleasant Hill Lake Park/Marina are also very close by with boat rental.Click image for larger version

That was a well written review. Certainly transports me there with imagery and serenity.

Whispering Hills

We stayed there for two day this month and loved it. It's a great park. Will be back for sure when the leaves change. It will be gorgeous in the fall.
