I stayed there my first two nights in Florida before moving on to Ocala Nat'l Forest. It was...ok....not what I'd consider a "destination" type place though.
We love O'Leno state park. Each year we stop there for a week at the beginning of our Florida winter. It has beautiful nature, private campsites, not many people, great hiking and biking trails, a museum and much more.
Suggestion: Magnolia section is closer to the river and much nicer.

We like to go to Ichetucknee Springs SP which is not far from Oleno SP. There are only 2 privately owned campgrounds there that have crappy facilities. So the next time we go I was thinking of Oleno which is 15-20 minutes away.
