Oneonta/ Unadilla KOA (NY State)

I usually know what I am getting when we stay at a KOA. This one was a bit of a surprise.

We asked for recommendations for a restaurant and received excellent advice for one in Unadilla. But I also registered three complaints or at least they must have been considered complaints. The first was about the party going on until 1:00 in the morning. I found the noise to be disturbing and in violation of to 10 PM to 6 AM quiet time rule.

The other two "complaints" were: 1.) to let them know that there was no toilet paper in one of the restrooms and 2.) to let them know that there appeared to be fecal material on the walls of the rest room stalls.

I was referred to the owner in all cases and was informed by him that I was too exacting after the last complaint. I guess some things aren't as important to everyone.

This place is now on my "try another place first" list.

Thanks for the 'heads up.' We'll definitely stay away from that one!

I have stayed at about 75 KOA's and that one is in the top three of the worst for us.
