Pennsylvania Elk

We are headed to Western PA this weekend to attempt to see the PA Elk heard. Weatherman is calling for rain on Saturday - hopefully it will not slow down their movement.

We will be staying at Parker Dam State Park.

Had a great weekend in the Elk County, PA. We spent the weekend in Parker Dam State Park and seen many elk roaming freely.

The elk were not in the campground - bummer! We are traveling to to NY next weekend and I hope to have a great entry for the contest.

We live about one hour from where the elk roam. We found out the best time to see them is early morning or just before dark.We rented a cabin fora weekend last fall in the town of Benezette. It was strange to see them wandering around in the locals yards. Probably hard on flower beds. The new lookout is great. We have only seen elk by the new museum once, but on out the road a mile or so, we have seen hundreds. Have a good time.
