Petersburg Campground - Appling, GA

Has anyone stayed in this campground? If so, do you recommend it and which site?

Yes, we recommend it. We have stay there a few times, don't remember the site numbers. Petersburg is a very nice campground. It is big rig friendly, with lots of water sites (and water has been up all year!). It is one of the few COE campgrounds that stay open year round on this lake. We normally stay at Winfield COE, as it is a little closer to home and we used to keep our boat there (just sold it).
