Pine Mountain RV park Pigeon Forge

Has anyone stayed at this park the website shows it is very nice. Any information would be greatly appreciated. I asked earlier about the KOA there but after all the info decided to keep looking as this is a long trip for us from upstate NY. Thanks in advance looking forward to whatever you have to offer.

I have stayed there, it's one nice rv park. If you like you can use the pool at the hotel right across the road. Trolley stop is at the hotel, all the pads are cement.

Riveredge rv park in Pigeon Forge is also nice. Riverside rv park close to I-40 is nice and it's like $38 bucks a night. River Plantation is also great and it's close to Walmart. You can download rvparksandcampgrounds and look at all the campgrounds there. The next question is what roads are you taking to get there

Haven't stayed at Pine Ridge, but we always stay at Kings Holly Haven (Good Sam) on Wears Valley Road. Nice little park, and convenient to everything. Good luck.

River landing use to be Twin Mountain and we have stayed there a lot, the spots next to the river are not to level,, well a few are level. It's got four rows of campsites. Most of there campsites are level just the ones by the river are a little off but we have stayed on the river a lot. You can actually go on line and look at each individual spot. 99% of people that come from the north take I-81 South to I-40 West and then get off at exit 407 and the traffic is bad every time I go. If it was me I would take I-81 until I came to I-40 and take I-40 East to exit 432A and keep right, you will stay on US 25 West for just a short way until you come to 411 take that left and stay on that road until you come to Veteran BLVD, take that left. This road lets you bypass all that traffic. If you have the time while you are on 411 you can stop by Bush Baked Beans, they have a big parking lot, you can take a tour and get your picture with Duke

pigeon forge

Take a look at Anchor Down RV Resort just outside of Pigeon Forge. absolutely the most beautiful campground in the area. Breathtaking views on Douglas Lake.

We really like this place. Very quiet, clean and nice. Just off a main road, but it's in a valley that keeps things nice and quiet. Very helpful owners, too. Bear Cove Village in Pigeon Forge, TN

I have stayed at riverside twice this past summer. Nice, small away from the hustle of the main campgrounds. Staying at river plantation this year. Both are nice have stayed at clayboughs before, twin rivers, and Townsend campground that is koa now.

We stayed there for the 1st time last year. We have been to the area every year for the last 33 years. Staying mainly at Z-Buda campground. But when they closed it, we stayed at Riversedge. It had nice bathrooms, but packed in with hardly any yard. My wife complaining caused us to go to Pine Mountain. She liked it so much she insisted for us to make reservations for this year before we left last year. It's easy to get to (Stop light 6 ) and lots are big enough to manover getting parked.

We've stayed there 3 times. Talked about trying a different campground but we end up there because it is super clean and friendly people. It is not woodsy by any means. Concrete and asphalt which for this type of atmosphere is fine.
Quick story, a friend and his wife were just in Pigeon Forge 1 week before the fires. He forgot my recommendation so they stayed at KOA. It was after the first night he pulled anchor and left. He text me asking for the name of the campground we spoke about months prior. They ended up at Pine Mountain and could not thank me enough. Which I was surprised because initially he said they wanted the woodsy feel which is why they went with the first choice but really glad they left.

Yea we decided to skip the KOA because a lot of people had that opinion. We have also been looking at Camp Rivers landing pretty hard not sure what to think. Thanks for all the info.

We have stayed at Smokey Bear a couple of times.
Smoky Bear Campground and RV Park, 4857 East Pkwy, Gatlinburg, TN 37738
smokybearcampground.com, (865) 436-8372
The benefit to me is I can come in on 321 off I-40 and miss all the traffic.

River Plantation is a nice campground, they have a rv wash that is also nice. It's close to one of our favorite places, the Apple Barn

Spock 123 looks like we chose Camp Rivers landing site rv9 on the creek. I know you said you stayed there what site did you choose. Will I be sorry with a 36 foot fiver choosing a creek side site.
