Provincetown in mid september

Thinking of towing my Roo 233s from Ohio to Provincetown in mid September.

It would be a very very long one day drive each way.

How are the campgrounds in terms of open/closed and what types of services will be even open after labor day.

It this a trip that is better suited for a hotel at this time of year?

I only know of a couple of campgrounds that far into the cape. Nickerson State park is nice but bare camping. There was another I like a long time ago but I don't remember the name. Most Cape campgrounds don't allow fires because due to ordinances to prevent forest fires. You will want to check on that before go. I have been looking at places on the Cape myself. It has been years since I camped there and that was in my tent days. Whichever you choose I am sure you will love it. I think September is the best time there. The Traffic gets lighter and the water is at its warmest. I hope you have a great time when you get there.
