Rainbow Springs State Park
We spent 3 days at Rainbow Springs State Park in Florida and had a great time. The sites are sort of private due to trees and shrubs, sewer hook-ups, water and of course electricity. They have a large game room with a ping pong table, TV and video games. There is a well-stocked store with RV supplies as well as snorkeling supplies. You have to walk down to the spring, but it is not too far. We had a lot of fun swimming in the "cold" water and seeing all the wildlife. Huge bass, turtles and smaller fish were abundant. The water is as clear as new bath water, of course the river is constantly flowing so you have to be mindful of the current. If you get a chance rent a kayak and you will not regret it. Also take a short drive to Homosassa Spring Wildlife Park. It was a great addition to an already great camping trip.
