Thanks.
This has been my experience so far for the five visits this summer.
We pull up and the office staff is very helpful in checking you in. After check in, someone escorts you to your campsite. They will help guide you in if help is needed. I'm pretty good at backing up now, but I really appreciated their patience and help when I was learning.
Any questions about the campsite were quickly handled. Firewood delivery was prompt. We've enjoyed all of the sites we've stayed in. They have all had great spacing between our neighbors. The trees, shade and nature makes it really peaceful and enjoyable.
We had some good experiences with the perm campers. As I was setting up, I was offered cinder blocks to help with leveling by my neighbor (perm camper resident) because they knew the site I was at was un even. The sweet lady offered me wood and the kid a klondike bar
They were very good neighbors.
The gentleman driving around in the golf carts that work there are helpful. I gather that they are passionate about their work and wanted to share their knowledge and experiences with me.
I find that the campground is very festive and fun. Their fall festivities have been great. They have all sorts of activities planned. We were their last weekend and did trick-or -treating, rode the action packed hay ride, carved a pumpkin and did the spooky trail. Many of the campers had their sites decorated with all sorts of Halloween lights etc...
Jerry down at the lake is a great asset their. He teaches the kids and anyone else how to fish. I had no fishing rod so he set my boy up with his rod and taught him how to fish. Now my son fishes all by himself when we go because of our wonderful experience with Jerry.
So far so good for us and our experiences their. I just wanted to share some video because I enjoy watching videos of campgrounds so that I can see what it's like before I go there.
