Ron, we will be coming through Harrisburg around 3 or 4 maybe. I work into Friday morning and will sleep until we leave around 1 or 2 by the latest. Are plan is to get to the CG on Sat morning and we will be leaving for home Wed AM
3pm on a Friday expect heavy traffic around Harrisburg, with it increasing until about 6pm.
The other night, coming out of Harrisburg at 3pm took and hour and 45 mins to get home, and it is only a 20 mile commute.
Best of luck coming thru, and enjoy the trip, sounds like a great time.

doc73 - made the trip past weekend, only real issues on 15 are Selinsgrove to Shamokin Dam with lots of traffic lights, road construction on the east side of Susquehanna River (Route 147 to I180 as TUXEDO mentioned) north of Northumberland PA has a length restriction of I think 48' milling/paving operation just some hills after that on your way into NY

Thank you both for the help. Looks like we will be stopping in Williamsport. Not quite as far as I'd like to get but you all were not kidding, there is NOTHING from there until NY.

Pat. Looks like we may have some wet weather Friday night and Saturday. I'm hoping the forecast will change. But 2 1/2 days out of 4 is better than none.

Pat weather is looking up. How did you fare with 15 traffic yesterday. The merge right before selingsgrove really put us behind. Got at campsite in Brockton NY around 8pm. Let me know how your crossing goes. We may be shooting for Sunday or Monday.

Shamokin Dam. At least you had a cool night for your boondocking. Just waiting for rain to stop at noon to go for adventure.

15 minutes to cross the border. Very easy. Ezpass decided to stop as we entered the toll for the bridge but other than that it was ok.

Thanks, I'll be crossing with motorcycle so I'll make sure I have some bills. Thanks for heads up.

Weather looks pretty good for rest of the week.

Thinking we are going to cross tomorrow. Just can't decode if it will be on motorcycle or truck.

It is 20 to 30 to park depending on how close. 5 a few miles away at the botanical garden but it is a walk back!
