RV parks around or in Nashville

We are planning a trip to Nashville and I was wondering where people have stayed. Would like to have full hook-up including sewer.

Silly question, are there adaptors that would go from 50 amp to 30 amp just in case site only has 50?

Would like to stay in Nashville or within about 15 minutes or so.

Thanks for the help.

We stayed at the KOA. There was another RV park right next to it as I recall. The KOA was fine, pretty close to the Grand Ole Opry and not too far from downtown. We were there in 2010 after the flood so the mall was not open yet.

Two Rivers RV Park on Music Valley Drive seems to get the most nods. It is between two other RV parks, KOA and Yogi Bear Jellystone RV Park. All are within walking distance to Camping World or Cullum & Maxey RV if you need a 50 AMP to 30 AMP "dog bone" adapter. Check out the reviews on campgroundreviews.com

Will check those out. We might actually stay further out now at one of the state parks. They are a little cheaper lol.

Anyone stayed at the state parks around there?

Thanks again for the help.

You can usually get a 50 to 30 amp adapter at WallyWorld in the RV isle.
Many full service RV parks will loan you an adapter.
State parks not so much....
I have an adapter and used it one time in 5 years.
They would have loaned me one that one time but by golly I had my new
one and I was gonna use it!

We camp in the Nashville area often with my kids and grand-kids living in the area. We stay at the COE park Cedar Creek in Mt. Juliet. Very nice, clean and convenient to the east side of Nashville. No sewer hook-ups. My brother camps on the west side at COE Lock-A near Ashland City, he really likes it.

We like the Army Core of Engineer (COE) over the state parks, and there are several in the Nashville area. Look here for reservations Campgrounds and Camping Reservations - ReserveAmerica .

Just left Nashville today, we stayed at Two Rivers and it was great. Nice sites (I think they are all back in but easy to access) The power was excellent 123v no load and only droppd to 117 with the air and Keurig going. CG was pretty full at the time as well. Camping world is right next door if you need anything.

The Army Corps has some nice parks, Seven Points, Cedar Creek, Cages Bend to name a few. To the east of town south of Lebanon is Cedars of Lebanon State Park. Tennessee now has the reservation system and also an app that can be downloaded.

Well we ended up staying at seven points recreation park. Very nice park. Shaded spots.

Just a tip though if using gps to get there it will probably take you through a pretty nice residential neighborhood. Wasn't sure if was going right way.

Going to Seven Points

Yes, sort of gets you mixed up when using a GPS. I know the area real well, live across the lake in Smyrna. Gage's Bend is another one that will make you think I am lost. Glad you enjoyed it. We stayed in spot 12 recently, loved it.
