Spring Break/Nashville Tn

Hi All-

DW tells me last night we should go somewhere warm for spring break...I immediatly thouhgt of the Gulf....I guess that was not what she had in mind, besides its all booked. I am of the mindset Go big but apparently we are not on the same page.

We have seemed to settle on Nashville. There are a few Private parks, but none or very little state parks or COE's that are even open late in March....Any ideas for a Nashville trip with a 2 and 4 year old? We all like traditional camping over RV parks but This one may force our hand. Any input would be great!

AZ. and NM. have places open all year around would one of those two work?
Southern NV. may have something around Boulder city.

Would southern LA work?

We went to Branson last year and really enjoyed it. A little cool at night but warmed up nicely during the day.

Nashville will be way to cool/cold for SpringBreak for you to enjoy with the little ones (Drove through there last year on our way to Charleston SC). We have had many many trips for SpringBreak. Rio Grand Valley, South Padre, Galveston Island, New Orleans, Gulf Shores, Panama City, Orlando, Atlanta, Los Vegas, ect, ect. With SpringBreak around the last week in March for the University of Mo (all schools around here are 'out' when MU is 'out'). Going to all of these places (and more), they have all been chilly in the evenings and warmer during the day. Nashville will be no better temp wise than St.Lou. Go farther south and enjoy the outdoors. I have Reservations for Fort Pickens at Pensacola for SB, they seem to still have vacancies. Electric and Water. When we were at Gulf Shores, we drove over to Pensacola and watched the Blue Angels demonstration. From Fort Pickens Island the Blue Angels will be flying over and easily seen. Their first public invited demonstration will be on the Wed of the last week in March.

I would recommend nashvillecountryrvpark.com for the best childrens playground and shuttle service to local attractions and a winery, tworiverscampground.com if you need to be close to Opryland/Grand Ole Opry, Camping World and catfish at the Cock of the Walk restaurant or travel just a short distance east on I-40 to Cedars of Lebanon State Park (open year-round). Google camping in Tennessee State Parks for info.
