Thanks to everyone for your great responses to my posts. I 'm really surprised by how many people are interested in what we are doing. I'm just like the rest of you and have talked to others who have done trips like this. I wondered if I would ever be able to do the same some day. It didn't look like it would ever happen after we sold our last camper about 8 or ten years ago. Our three week trip in a rented 30ft motorhome in Alaska 3 years ago awakened the bug in me again. We are having a great time. We did this on a whim and had no idea how this would go. We had no idea whether we could live with each other in a trailer for a long period of time. We are now a month into this adventure and things are gone well. I still keep my fingers crossed everyday that nothing major goes wrong. I know you are all itching to get out yourself and I hope it happens soon . BigDnRo I hope you get to do your trip especially out west. We think AZ and Utah are just so beautiful. I highly suggest you research the Grand Circle Tour of National parks of AZ. and Utah. We did it by car and all the Parks are just amazing especially for us Arches National Park near Moab Utah.
We travelled from Brenda AZ. to Phoenix yesterday to meet up with friends who just relocated for a job transfer. We are now in Benson AZ. at Butterfield RV Resort for the next 7 days. There are many things to explore in this area. We visited Frank Lloyd Wright's winter home Taliesin in Phoenix. This place is amazing and this man was way ahead of his time. The tour guide was great and full of so much knowledge of Mr. Wright.
The Weather Gods have caught up with us. It has been cloudy the last couple days and had cooled off to the 60's. It is raining here in Benson today and the Temp is only 49. It is supposed to rain off and on for the next 2 days. We will soldier on as they say. We have learned over the years that you can't let the weather ruin your trips. I will post some pics a little later. Have to go for now.
