Hi! Wolverine 1945. Ialso did not expect to see Ground Squirrels in the desert. there was about 4 of them scampering around a pile of rocks and sand. They had tunnels everywhere. There are also supposed to be Rabbits but we did not see any or anything else that lives there. The canyon is very dry right now because people have told us this has been the driest winter in a long time.We have not seen running water anywhere. They pointed out to us where the family and friends were swept away by a flash flood back in July. I knew of the tragedy but did not realize this was where it happened. We had to travel a lot farther West then we had planned to find a place to stay for an extended time. The only thing available around Tucson or Phoenix was 1 or 2 nights here or there. Unbelievable when you see how many campgrounds there are all around. We are avoiding sketchy places. We are currently at Black Rock RV Resort in Brenda AZ. and will be here until through Tuesday. There is really nothing to do in this area as it mostly plays to the ATV crowd. We are in AZ. and the weather here is way better than back home. We are just kicking back and enjoying the weather. We are about 1.5 hours from Lake Havasu and will make a day trip there one day. There are at least 6 large RV Resorts within a couple miles of each other in this area. We will start heading back East next week with our next stop at Butterfield RV Resort an Observatory in Benson AZ. for a week. I see nothing in this area to take pics of so sorry no pics. We will get some when we make our trip to Lake Havasu.

Hi! everyone. I know I'm a Dreamer but if anyone knows of someone with an AT&T Mobley with the $20 unlimited plan for sale I'm looking for one. So if anybody knows someone who is giving up camping and has one they are not going to use anymore keep me in mind. I know this is a long shot but just thought I would put it out here.

Sorry to make you jealous MCTroy my friends back home are jealous too. The weather is bad back home too. I don't miss any of it. Sorry to report but it has been in the upper 70's every day with not a cloud in the sky since we arrived in AZ. I actually caught 2 rolls Capt John so I guess one was for you. I plan on stopping to catch a few more on the way home. Thanks for the laugh Wolverine 1945 but you can't blame a guy for trying. I still think I'll win the lottery some day too. Nothing else to report today.
