Making our 1st trip to PSU this weekend. Purchased a weekend RV permit. I've tailgated there often, but this is our first time with the MH up there. Any advice or helpful insight would be appreciated. Is there a local dump station, a place to fill H2O tanks before we get there? Etc. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

This might not be the best weekend to go up there...students are TICKED at JoePA being fired and are rioting. I think I'd be staying away. I feel bad for the guy--he deserved better treatment than that.

Yes, according to all the news reports this morning, they had a mild riot last night after Joe was fired by the Board of Trustees...with a tv van being overturned, and reporters pelted with rocks....until the police with riot gear stepped in.

Hopefully, calmer heads are prevailing now....but as Taranwanderer stated, this may not be the best weekend...depending on what transpires over the next few days.

Being pretty familiar with the PSU campus and the type of students that are there, I really don't think I would have many safety concerns about going there this weekend or at any time. PSU is a pretty special place and they'll survive this and go forward. What happened is beyond unfortunate, but the school will survive and even thrive going forward.

We never took the MH to PSU and even if we did, we are coming from the opposite direction as you. For water, I would load up before leaving. There are some campgrounds in the area that I'm sure would have dump stations.

Safe travels to you.

I went to a few games many years ago when we livin in PA in the 70's, I will never forget how much fun it was. Pitt v. PSU good times. I hope you also have a good time with all of the recent issues they are having with the scandal.
