Suggestions for route to VT from PA

I am heading from PA to VT next week and am planning the following route to avoid/minimize traffic:
76 Belmont Station, Southampton, PA 18966 to 3700 E Woodstock Rd, White River Junction, VT 05001 - Google Maps

Hopefully this came out correctly, but I am planning on bypassing the I95 corridor. Does anyone know of good places to get off the road for a break on this route?? This will be my first long drive and am concerned about stops and gas refills along the way. Are there rest stops on 684, 84 and 91???

Don't remember about the rest stops on your route, but do try to avoid Hartford at rush hour.

good point, I did not think of that, but hopefully we will leave early enough to avoid that

BTW Go to the State sites and look for the DOT. They often have a list of rest stops posted.
